Coach Addison was a four-year letterman out 0f St. Petersburg Catholic. A two-time all-county selection (2004, 2005), named team captain during his senior season. Hit .450 with 30 hits and 19 RBI in 2005. Named team MVP while earning All-Sun Coast and all-state honors as a Senior. As a Junior hit .486 with 40 hits and 27 RBI. Led the team in hits, RBI, and batting average. Addison was named Defensive MVP in 2004 and named the team’s Most Improved Defensive Player as a sophomore. During his freshman year, he hit .451 while earning Defensive MVP honors and well being named a Baseball Scholar. While at USF, Coach Addison was named Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American and named BIG EAST Rookie of the Year, Batted .284 (58-of-204) with 26 RBI and 30 runs scored and started all 55 games at shortstop. During his Sophomore year at USF, Coach Addison was listed on Brooks Wallace Award Preseason Watch List. Started 55 games at third, two at second, and one in left field. Only Bull to play, and start, all 60 games. Addison was drafted his junior year in the 17th round to the New York Yankees where he played for 7 years. He then was picked up in free agency by the Philadelphia Phillies where he played parts of one season. Coach Addison is in charge of baseball operations and recruiting at CBU.
